Glucose is then absorbed into the bloodstream and then into the cells (with the help of the insulin hormone), where it is used for energy. When the body cannot use the glucose properly, the glucose levels get too high and the animals feel poorly. When the insulin level in the body is too low or does not work properly, then your pet is suffering from diabetes type 2. Diabetes type 1 is when the body does not produce insulin at all.This is why you should constantly monitor your’ pets glucose levels. We exclusively dispense Health Canada-approved prescription medications and ship them within Canada, provided a valid Canadian prescription is submitted with your order.

Every prescription is carefully prepared by our licensed Canadian pharmacists at Vetmeds, a division of Pace Pharmacy. The medication you receive is the same brand, active ingredient, and dosage your veterinarian prescribes—offered at fair prices and delivered directly to any Canadian address. For pets requiring unique or specialty prescriptions, we may be able to provide custom-compounded formulations. Contact our support team with any questions regarding medication availability, compounded pet treatments, or prescription submissions.

A valid prescription from your veterinarian is required before dispensing. You can submit it before or after placing your order. Prescriptions can be faxed or emailed directly by your vet or sent to us by mail. If you prefer, you can also bring the original prescription to our location.
