We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned, and you may wish to return a product. At VetMeds.ca, we aim to make the process as straightforward as possible while ensuring the safety and quality of the products we provide.

General Return Policy

We collect personal information necessary to provide our services and fulfill your orders, including but not limited to:

  • Prescription Medications: Due to regulatory and safety considerations, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for prescription medications. Once these items leave our facility, they cannot be resold or reused.
  • Non-Prescription Items: Non-prescription products may be eligible for return within 15 days of purchase, provided they are unopened, unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging. Return shipping will be at your own expense.

Steps to Initiate a Return

  • Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team at info@vetmeds.ca. Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  • Await Confirmation: Our team will review your request and confirm whether the item is eligible for a return. You’ll receive instructions on how to proceed.
  • Ship the Item: If approved, package the item securely and ship it to the address provided by our team. Please note that you are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong or defective item).
  • Receive Your Refund: Once we receive the returned item and confirm it meets our return criteria, we will process your refund. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.

Damaged or Defective Items

We strive to ensure all orders are shipped accurately and arrive in excellent condition. If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt:

  • Email: Include your order number and photos of the damaged or defective product.
  • Resolution: We will replace the item or issue a full refund, including any shipping fees, at no additional cost to you.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Opened or used non-prescription products
  • Prescription medications
  • Refrigerated or temperature-sensitive items
  • Items purchased more than 15 days ago

Refund Processing

  • Refunds are issued to the original method of payment.
  • It may take 7-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your payment provider.
  • If you used a discount or promotion on your order, the refunded amount will reflect the discounted price.
