At VetMeds.ca, we make shipping simple, convenient, and stress-free so you can focus on what matters most: your pet’s health. Here’s everything you need to know about how we get your pet’s medications and products to your door.

Processing Your Orders

We process orders during our business hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Eastern Time). Prescription orders require verification by our pharmacists, which could take 1-2 business days. To avoid delays, please ensure your veterinarian sends us a valid prescription promptly containing all required information. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin to be processed the next business day.

Shipping Options That Fit Your Needs

We’ve partnered with trusted carriers like Canada Post and Purolator to offer reliable delivery options:

  • Standard Shipping: Arrives in 3-7 business days.
  • Expedited Shipping: Arrives in 2-5 business days.
  • Xpresspost: Arrives in 1-3 business days.

Shipping costs depend on your destination, the size of your order, and the shipping method you choose. Exact costs will be calculated during checkout.

Enjoy Free Shipping

We’re happy to offer free standard shipping on orders over $500 (before taxes) within Canada. Note that some exceptions apply, including:

  • Refrigerated items needing special packaging and handling.
  • Large or heavy items that may require additional fees.

Special Care for Refrigerated Items

For temperature-sensitive medications, we use insulated packaging and ice packs to maintain the proper conditions during transit. To ensure they reach you quickly and safely, these products are shipped using expedited services, and a packaging and handling surcharge may apply.

Where We Ship

We deliver to provinces and territories across Canada. At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

Track Your Package

Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and carrier information. Use this tracking number to monitor your package and know exactly when to expect it.

What to Do If There’s a Problem

If your package is delayed, lost, or arrives damaged, don’t worry—we’re here to help. Contact us at info@vetmeds.ca, and we’ll work with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Please note, VetMeds.ca is not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier issues, or incorrect shipping details provided by customers.

And since all prescriptions require a signature upon delivery, delays due to legally required signatures will not be the responsibility of VetMeds.ca.

Returns for Shipped Items

Due to the nature of our products, prescription medications and temperature-sensitive items are non-returnable.
